Event Information

Starting fortnightly from Monday the 26th January, TRAFFIC will be meeting at Bunkhouse DnB Bar from 18:00 - 22:00 to host Open Decks sessions for our members! Your ability and style does not matter - everyone is welcome to come and play. Whether you want to use this session to practice your skills, to play on some of the best decks available, or to simply try DJing for the first time, then these sessions are for you!

If you have no exerience DJing, there is nothing specific you need to bring. The committee members present will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have and to show you the basics of DJing.

If you have experience DJing, we recommend bringing a USB stick with your music on and headphones.

NOTE: to anyone bringing a USB stick with music on, please ensure it is authenticated properly, and make sure to convert your playlists from 'Device Library' to 'Device Library Plus.'

To authenticate your USB stick, go on Rekordbox 6 or 7 on Windows or MAC. Put your USB in and on the same side bar where you access your USB's playlists, there is a small authenticate button, click this, and a tick should appear to indicate this is completed.

To convert to device library plus, this can be quickly completed on Rekordbox 6 or 7 on Windows or MAC. Right click 'Device Library' and a prompt should appear asking to 'Export to Device Library Plus', click yes. Another prompt will appear saying 'Library already exists - convert anyway?' and click yes again. Then, wait until the bar reaches 100%, and you're done!
