SOCSI SPRING BALL

We welcome you to the Social Sciences Society end of year spring ball which will be held at Jacob's Rooftop Garden on the 16th April (18:30-22:00). To be let into the venue you will need to purchase a ticket and show proof on the door.

Your ticket gives you a welcome drink upon arrival (alcoholic and non-alcoholic available), a selection of picky bits on the side as well as pizza cooked fresh and on demand with special requests for any intolerances or allergens in advance. The night will be full of music, dancing, taking lovely photos on the rooftop, and ultimately spending time with people close to you. To ensure dietry requirements are considered, please ensure you complete the google forms sent to your email after ticket purchase

We are not limiting tickets to be sold to Social Sciences students, this means you can bring plus ones outside of the society as we have non-member tickets selling.

As some may find the night ends slightly early, the committee and any guests wanting to join us will be heading to another venue to continue partying after 22:00!! (decided on the night)

We have also had a few questions about whether this will be the last ball of the year. We would love to be able to hold the ball in the summer sunshine but in order to make it so that as many people as possible are able to attend, we decided it would be best to hold it in the spring instead. Fingers crossed for sunshine, but just in case there will be an alternative room reserved inside which will be decorated beautifully with plants and other decorations to reflect the outside rooftop space. We hope to see you all there!

Disclaimer

Unfortunately the ball venue does not have a lift available for use. This means that there are a few flights of stairs to the actual venue, as it is on the rooftop. Please be aware of this when purchasing a ticket, and please contact us with any questions! We are also aware that people will be drinking alcohol at the ball, and that this could become an issue with lots of stairs. We encourage you to have a good time, but more importantly to remain safe. Please be responsible with alcohol, the society and committee are not responsible for you. We really apologise for any inconvenience.
