Interested in sports photography or playing sports? At Roath Park Tennis*, we'll be doing both!

We can provide 4 tennis racquets and 4 tennis balls, so we'll host host one doubles (2 v 2) match at a time! Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn.

There is no pre-tennis prep needed - we'll teach you on the day! But we're not playing seriously, nor are we counting points, as our main aim is to keep the ball continuously passing between both sides of the court.

If you take care to avoid being hit by a flying tennis ball, you may photograph the matches but not the general public. We will check photography consent before we begin but it is your responsibility to re-ask people if you forget.

If photography consent is provided for marketing purposes, you may send your photographs to Josh Thomas at [email protected], who is the Communications Lead of Tennis Wales. They are interested in showcasing how people and universities can use the parks' facilities.
