Event Information

The Give it a Go training is free of charge, and attending for the whole semester costs just £15, or £10 if you are already an Opsoc member. Opsoc Netball runs a weekly training session every Thursday from 7:30–8:30 pm. Training often includes a variety of creative and engaging drills aimed at improving netball skills, building fitness, and boosting confidence on court, all in a very chilled environment. We normally finish training with game play. Additionally, for those who would like to play competitively, there is the opportunity to do so with weekly matches every Wednesday. Opsoc Netball also has two netball teams that compete in matches each week. The session is open to everyone, from complete beginners to experienced players, and is not just for optometry students - everyone is welcome to come along and get involved!
