Event description
A space for students, inclusive of undergraduates and postgraduates, whose research interest is related to race and ethnicity in all disciplines. Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic students are encouraged to take part!
At this event, you will:
- Network with like-minded researchers with similar research interests
- Share your knowledge in the field with other students
- Learn about research on race and racial equality currently being done by fellow students at Cardiff University
- Collaborate with all attendees to produce a manifesto of a decolonial research experience at Cardiff University, which will be passed on to Cardiff University Students' Union for campaigning purposes
- Consume free drinks and sweet treats (accommodating for your dietary requirements and allergies)
Accessibility
The Students’ Union front entrance is on Park Place, there is a ground level lift positioned behind the stairs at the main entrance which provides access to the main reception on Level 2. A lift is available inside the building for access to all other levels. The rear entrance is on Senghennydd Road. Please be aware that there are two entrances at this location. The door between ‘Magic Wrap’ and ‘Cardiff Student Letting’ is on a flat level with a lift available off the central stairwell of the building giving access to all other levels. There are accessible toilets on every floor.
