🎾 Give It a Go: Padel

Curious about padel? Whether you’ve never picked up a racket before or you’ve played a few times and want to see what the Padel Society is all about, this is the perfect chance to give it a go!

Join us at Smash Padel, Llandaff Fields for a relaxed and fun introduction to one of the fastest-growing sports around. Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is needed — our Give It a Go sessions are designed to be friendly, social and beginner-friendly.

📅 When?

Tuesday 30th September: 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Wednesday 1st October: 1:00pm – 4:00pm

There will be 4 courts available each hour, giving you plenty of time to get on court, have a hit and meet other students interested in padel.

🎟️ Tickets

Tickets are £5 per person, with 96 tickets available across the two days.

Your ticket includes:

• 🎾 Court time
• 🏓 Racket hire
• 🟡 Padel balls
• 🙌 The chance to meet the Padel Society and other students

You must purchase a ticket in advance to attend the session. Spaces are limited, so make sure to grab yours before they’re gone!

The courts are approximately a 15-minute walk through Bute Park from Talybont accommodation, making it an easy and scenic journey from campus.

Whether you’re completely new to padel, already love the sport, or simply want to try something different and meet some new people, come along and give it a go! 🎾
