Earn yourself some ultimate Kleos by coming along to our first event of the year: Boardgames and Biscuits! Gain glory on the Boardgame battlefield or just have a nice time and enjoy some biscuits, whatever you wanna do.

Come along and play (and hopefully win) some boardgames with ANARC. Challenge the ANARC committee to games like buckaroo, uno and many more whilst also having the chance to meet some new people. This is a great opportunity to get to know other people who are interested in archaeology, ancient history and conservation, whilst eating biscuits is a awesome bonus. Got any boardgames of your own? make sure to bring them along!

This event is free to attend but does require a ticket due to limited capacity. Vegan and vegetarian biscuits will be available as well as an assortment of non-alcoholic drinks.

What is a GIAG? A GIAG (or Give it a go) is an event which allows you to attend a event to check out what the society is like, going to lots of GIAG is a great way to meet new people and find your interests.

Do i have to be an ANARC member to attend the ANARC GIAG? - No, our GIAG is open to everyone! 

What games should i bring? Quick simple games are the best, such as card games or easy to learn boardgames. Maybe leave Risk at home ....

What biscuits and drinks will you have? We will have an array of biscuits, including vegan and vegetarian biscuits. All drinks will be non alcoholic, and will include still and fizzy drinks.
