Event Information
Join us for a visit to Cardiff Crown Court , where students will have the opportunity to observe live criminal proceedings and see the criminal justice system in operation.
This visit offers valuable insight into courtroom practice, including advocacy, judicial decision-making, and procedural rules. It is an excellent opportunity to deepen understanding of criminal law beyond the classroom and observe how legal principles are applied in real cases.
We will meet at 9:00am outside the main university building opposite the Students’ Union, before travelling to the court together. Please arrive on time, as late arrival may result in being unable to join the visit. The end time is approximate and may vary depending on the court timetable.
Court etiquette must be observed at all times. Smart clothing is required, and mobile phones must be switched off during proceedings. All participants must comply with court security requirements.
