Event Information

Come along to the biggest COMSC Hackathon of the year! Hosted in Abacws 4.07 (Cyber Security Lab).

We have partnered up with BAE and Mind Neath Port Talbot, to bring you a 2 day event where you can showcase your programming skills and hack together something to make a difference!

Bring a group or come alone and we'll sort you all into teams of 3-5 people. You'll build a solution for Mind based off the project proposal, pitch it, and compete against other teams in 2 categories where you can win Amazon Vouchers for each member of your team!

This will be a great project to put on your CV, a chance to gain some experience and meet employers! But if none of that then we've got Free Pizza lunch on both the Thursday and Friday!

On Wednesday 22th - There will be optional talks on tools and technology to give you a head start .
On Thursday 23th - We will hand out the project proposal and development will begin!
On Friday 24th - Development will continue in the morning until the deadline at 3:30pm. Teams will then pitch their solution in front of the judges, ending the day by handing out prizes to the winners!

Unfortunately, due to the room being a cyber security lab, the computers will not have any internet access and therefore we recommend you bring you own laptops. You will be able to use the other computer spaces around Abacws if you wish.
