To fight oppression, we need to know where it comes from. Are people just naturally racist? Is there something instinctual which causes the rampant misogyny of today? Or does it come from a system which benefits from division?

As communists, we understand that society is split into classes. These class divisions have changed through time, but since the emergence of private property itself, the ruling class has used divisions to maintain their power and increase their own wealth. Under capitalism, those classes are the working class and the ruling class. And we can see how the philosophy of the ruling class - not only through mouthpieces like Farage, but also Kier "island of strangers" Starmer - permeates through the ruling instituitons of capitalism. But what do we see when the workers unite? When the struggle is waged not against each other but our real class enemies?
