CCTV Saturdays are HERE! We'll be streaming live from Wales' favourite student venue Y Plas every Saturday during term time. 🎥

Durham's most infamous student event has arrived in Cardiff! We're welcoming you back to the much awaited return of Cardiff clubbing and the arrival of our new and soon to be legendary Pre Season warm up social. September social nights for you and your club can’t get much better. 👌

Hosted every Saturday in Y Plas, starting Saturday 19th September before our weekly themes and outrageous shenanigans take over until the Christmas break. 🙌


What can you expect, without fail? INCREDIBLE music from our Wilder resident DJs, drinks specials, hilarious weekly themes and fancy dress to keep your Saturdays fun, different and interesting. 😉

Strictly 18+. A valid student ID is required for entry.

Cardiff University students may bring one guest. Guests must present valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) together with a valid student ID from another institution.

Y Plas is one of the largest Students' Union nightclubs in the UK and home to some of the biggest student events in the country. Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment is at the heart of everything we do.

♿ Accessibility

Step-Free Access – Y Plas has step-free access via the lift outside the Centre for Student Life. Please speak to security. 

Accessible Toilets – Step-free accessible toilets are available in Cwtch, Y Plas and the Balconi. These are accessed using a RADAR key, available from the Welcome Centre.

Emergency Evacuation – Evacuation procedures are in place to ensure your safety while taking individual access requirements into account.

Quieter Spaces – If you need a break from the event, quieter spaces are available in Cwtch and The Lodge.
