The first rebellion started in 1986. Skid Row’s self-titled debut saw great commercial success and ultimately went multi-platinum with the help of hits including “18 and Life,” “I Remember You,” and “Youth Gone Wild.” Their follow up album Slave to the Grind debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart (the first metal album to do so), received strong critical praise, and sold over a million copies. The band took a few years off, returning in 1995 with Subhuman Race. The band members went their separate ways, working on solo projects and with other bands, before re-forming in the mid-2000s with a new lead vocalist.   This new version of Skid Row would go on to open for Kiss during their farewell tour, they would release two albums (Thickskin and Revolutions Per Minute) and would eventually sign with Megaforce. Shortly after signing with the rock label, the band would announce a trilogy of EPs. United World Rebellion: Chapter One was released immediately and was followed by 2014’s Rise of the Damnation Army. In 2022,,the rebellion continues
