A series of inclusive talks for all featuring Cardiff alumni.
Get inspired for your future! We will be exploring Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Higher Education and the Cardiff Alumni's career paths!

This final talk will take place in the Sir Stanley Thomas OBE Lecture Theatre in the CSL. Nibbles and drinks will be provided!

Speakers:

Patrick Younge - Pat is a graduate of Cardiff University and now the Chair of the University's governing body, The Council. A former Chief Creative Officer of BBC Television, where he was responsible for 3000 programme makers delivering shows ranging from Dr Who to Strictly, Luther to Eastenders. Younge left Cardiff University in 1987 with a degree in Mining Geology, is a former President of the Students Union and Athletic Union. He represented the University at rugby, football and played for the Welsh and British Universities Cricket team. 

Sudhuf R Khan - Sudhuf is currently a Lecturer of Social Sciences at Cardiff and Vale College and an Agored Cymru Board member. In 2018 she completed her BSc in Sociology and Education at Cardiff University. The degree prepared her for a career in academia. Her memorable time at Cardiff helped Sudhuf gain confidence and provided her with multiple opportunities in her current field.

Taz Jones - Taz currently works as a Senior Manager in UWTSD Students’ Union, focusing on membership services (student Voice, Student Advice, Student Opportunities). They studied BSc Genetics and finished their studies in 2018. Whilst studying at Cardiff, they were a Student Academic Rep for 3 years and LGBT+ Officer. Due to their work with the Students’ Union, they have gained many skills and received an ESLA in 2018 and named as a Rising Star on the Pinc List 2018.
