Welcome to Cardiff University's Rounders Club's Page!
We're excited to have your interest, and we promise to deliver in both the rounders sessions we offer and socials we host.
We have a place in the club for anyone and everyone, regardless of skill level. From casual and friendly games pre-social on a Wednesday, to team trainings on weekends and even competing at BUCS - all are welcome.
Sessions & Socials
As rounders is a popular and more social sport, we recognise the importance of socials and casual games. We offer both of these every Wednesday, with a dedicated social team in our committee working to ensure you have the most fun.
Our friendly and casual sessions take place every Wednesday at Bute Park from 2:00PM-3:30PM, this acts as a precursor to our social we host at around 6:00PM and then we'll head off as a club to the headliner of a Wednesday night - YOLO!
All our social information (social calendar, social hosting locations & themes) are all available on both our Facebook Page and Instagram account. Our social secretary's also announce details and information weekly in the Rounders Club Community on WhatsApp in our subsequent socials chat - so staying on top of things will be easy for you! Our £10 membership encompasses access to our socials, so no need to worry about a social membership.
Want to play more competitively?
Due to popular demand, rounders club are now in the stages of forming a competitive team, and will be holding upcoming trials to form our competitive team. A group chat dedicated to our trials can be found in our WhatsApp community. Once trials are held, Team A and Team B will be announced via our social media platforms as well as our WhatsApp groupchats.
Once the teams have formed, we will dedicate another day within the week to team trainings outside of our casual Wednesday sessions where we'll train together for BUCS and (fingers-crossed) Welsh Varsity!
