Welcome to the Women in STEM Society at Cardiff University!
We are a supportive community and network for like-minded women and non-binary people studying or working in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Our aim is to create an inclusive space where everyone, regardless of background or gender, feels welcome and empowered to connect, grow, and thrive in their STEM journey.

Join us for a variety of fun and engaging socials. Some of our events involve drinks and nights out, while others are sober, so there’s something for everyone. Our socials are a great way to unwind, meet new people, and feel part of our vibrant community.

We’re passionate about supporting our members in their professional development. Throughout the year, we host Women in STEM Networking Events, where you can connect with professionals, alumni, and like-minded peers. We also organize Inspiring Talks featuring successful women from various STEM industries who will share their stories, challenges, and achievements to motivate and guide you.
Whether you're here for the social community, professional growth, or both, the Women in STEM Society is here to support you throughout your time at Cardiff University. Together, we aim to uplift each other and build a stronger, more inclusive future for women in STEM.
