We are a vibrant community of students who share a passion for Hispanic and Latin American cultures and languages, with many of us proudly connected to this heritage. We aim to be an inclusive society where our members can share their enthusiasm for everything these countries have to offer. From Spanish and Portuguese students, to proud Spaniards and Latinos, there is a place for everyone in SLAM.

We aim to make our events inclusive, with various free events for members and non-members.
Everyone is more than welcome to join the society and our events! You don't even have to speak Spanish, Portuguese or know the Latin American culture - the only requirement is being open-minded, friendly and respectful to the people of all nationalities.
