Dog Society is a new society for 2026/27 for anyone who loves dogs, misses their pets at home, or just wants an excuse to spend more time around them!
We’ll be organising regular group dog walks around Bute Park with friendly dogs from the local community. It’s a chance to get some fresh air, meet other students, and take a break from uni and most importantly spend time with some adorable dogs obviously.
You don’t need to own a dog or know anything about them. Whether you’re a massive dog person or just looking to meet some new people, you’re welcome to come along.
As well as our weekly walks, we’ll be putting on socials, charity events and other activities throughout the year. Come along, bring your friends, and get involved as much or as little as you like!
Recruiting Dogs
We are recruiting dogs for the walks from a range of different areas of our local community. If you have a dog or know of a dog that would be able to come to our sessions please get in contact with us via our email
