Refunds for a product sold by a club/society:
Refunds can only be processed at committee discretion therefore you would need to get in touch with the committee and request a refund. The committee would then need to get in contact with SU Finance providing the student number of the student who requires a refund and the product that needs refunding. We will be in touch once the refund has been processed.
Refunds for events sold on the SU website:
Tickets have individual refund policies, and this is at the discretion of the seller. Please email us if you require a refund and we will forward this on to the relevant department. If approved, we will be in touch to let you know that this has been processed.
Unable to purchase something on the SU website due to error message
Membership errors:
If you cannot checkout due to membership errors, email us at SUFinance@cardiff.ac.uk.
Please provide your student number and a screenshot of the error.
Transaction errors:
First, please ensure that the billing address you enter matches the one registered to your payment card, as any mismatch may result in an error message.
If the issue continues, you’re welcome to purchase the product in person at the Finance Office. If visiting in person isn’t possible, simply send us an email with details of the product you're trying to purchase. We’ll then be able to send you a personalised payment link to complete your transaction online.
