Come along to the SU bar to meet the committee and find out more about Friends of MSF and how you can get involved!

Friends of MSF is a group of Cardiff University students who fundraise and help to boost awareness of the charity. Medecins Sans Frontiere (MSF) exists to save lives by providing medical aid where it is needed most – in armed conflicts, epidemics, famines and natural disasters. 90% of their income comes from individual donations (from people like us here in Cardiff!) which is beneficial in allowing the charity to stay independent, neutral and impartial - and to access those in greatest need quickly.

As a society we get together, brainstorm fundraising ideas such as organizing a gig or two, having a bake sale or providing tea and coffee around campus. One of our most popular events is our annual carol concert for which we would love to have more people involved. As a small society, the time commitment is small but your impact and ideas could be massive! Hope to see you at the Taf!
