GIAG Trip to St David's Cathedral

St David's Cathedral, The Pebbles, St Davids, Haverfordwest • Sat 05 October 2019 10:30-21:00

Join us on our GIAG trip to the smallest city in Wales as we visit the famous holy site of St David's Cathedral, stopping off for lunch at (the spoons near) Carmarthen Castle!

For £2, join us on our trip that will take us right across South Wales, a pilgrimage to the 6th century holy site of St David's Cathedral. A beautiful Cathedral in a charming city, St David's is a landmark of great significance to the Anglican Church in Wales. The first of our socials this year, this will be a great chance to come and make new friends, new memories and to share the most beautiful corner of Wales.

We will be leaving the Chaplaincy (61 Park Place) at 10:30am, traveling by minibus. After a quick lunch we'll be given a tour of the Cathedral and have the opportunity to visit the ruins of the adjoining monastery. We'll have some sort of dinner in the city of St David's and arrive back at the Chaplaincy before 9pm. Any song requests for the journey there and back, let us know!!
