The Annual Diversity Event
Our inaugural 2019 Diversity Event received plaudits for its exploration and recognition of historically underrepresented cohorts of society. The panel event provided a voice to members from the following categories: Women, LGBTQ+ and BAME.
Involvement from high-profile employers including Eversheds Sutherland, Womble Bond Dickinson and Enterprise Rent-A-Car offered an insight into the personal struggles of professionals whilst also highlighting the great strides made towards equality.
Charitable organisations such as Show Racism the Red Card provided a broader overview of systemic issues within our society.
In the wake of George Floyd's death and the Black Lives Matter protests, it is imperative that we continue to tackle injustice.
