What's the role?
If you want to get involved with a Student-Led-Service, contact the committee to talk about ways to get involved. If you want a more active role next year, you can run to be a committee member (treasurer, secretary, wellbeing officer, etc.) for the next academic year. The current SLSs are: bulletlist:{Period Dignity, Housing Action, Nightline, SHAG, Stronger Together, Student Minds}
What are the benefits?
Student-Led Services are student groups that exist to campaign for and support students with wellbeing needs. They are run similarly to societies and sports clubs, but have a specific purpose that they campaign for, and they are free to join. Student-Led Services need your support though! We're currently looking for fantastically passionate people, who will be able to deliver these appropriate services to better the student experience.
How to get involved
You must be a member of the SLS (no cost). You can buy your free membership on the SU website. Elections determine the committee for the next year. If you have any questions about committee elections or what the responsibilities of each role are you can reach out to the SLS directly or contact link:studentledservices@cardiff.ac.uk
