How to get involved
First, you must be a member of the group you wish to lead - have a look at all our link:https://www.cardiffstudents.com/activities/:{student groups}. You can buy your membership on your chosen student group's webpage. Once a year (usually in March-May) the student group will hold their Committee Elections to determine the committee for the following academic year. To be considered, all you need to do is write a manifesto and upload it to the election page! Fellow members of the student group will vote for their preferred candidate. Sometimes, student groups will hold a by-election (usually in October) to fill any vacant committee positions. If you have any questions about committee elections or what the responsibilities of each role are you can reach out to the student group directly or contact link:societies@cardiff.ac.uk / link:athleticunion@cardiff.ac.uk
