This project is currently not running due to covid restrictions.
A school-based project at Corpus Christi High School where volunteers assist secondary school pupils by providing one to one support through paired reading sessions and maths support. Pupils who need help to improve their reading and literacy benefit greatly from this chance to get extra support. This project would be great if you are considering going on to teach or do a PGCE.
There are two sessions a week, one in maths and one in reading, you don't need to go to every session but we do ask that you go to once a week.
level of Commitment: Once a week during term time
You will need a DBS for this project. If you haven't already got one or started this process then please come into the volunteering office to collect a form.
