What is the volunteering role?

What are the aims of this organisation/role?

You will be promoting the benefits of multilingualism through a series of mentoring sessions with a small group of learners aged 12-14 years in secondary schools in Wales.

What can volunteers expect to gain?

You will benefit from up to £250 bursary, an opportunity to develop your professional transferable skills, gain classroom experience and be part of a like-minded community!

What skills and abilities do I need to take on this role?

MFL Mentoring is offering a super exciting opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines with enthusiasm for languages and cultures! You don’t need to be studying a language to participate.

Where is this opportunity based?

Working with secondary schools in South East/Central Wales

What is the time commitment of this role?

2-3 hours per week for x6 weekly mentoring sessions.

Is a DBS check required?

Yes - MFL Mentoring will provide this for you.
