Do you want to improve your confidence, resilience and posture? Or just learn some cool self-defence techniques? We practice in a setting of mutual respect, where we focus on skill and enjoyment, rather than strength and showing off. The movements in Aikido are derived from Samurai sword work, and focus on dealing efficiently with opponents. Each technique can be practiced at your own pace, which means beginners are always able to participate. As there is always something new to learn or discover, the lessons are approachable for any level of previous knowledge. After each session, we go for a drink at the Talybont Social, to which you are also most welcome to join. If you have any questions, feel free to email or message us!

Please bring a training gi or loose, comfortable clothing (recommended sweat pants and an old t-shirt) and a water bottle.
