We have partnered up with the organisation 'Generation 2 Generation' (G2G) to commeorate Yom HaShoah this year. G2G helps the children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors tell their family's story.
Our speaker will be Gabriel Stein who will talk about his mother's (Maria) survival story in Lódz, occupied Poland during the Holocaust and her subsequent life in Sweden.
The event will consist of Gabriel's narrative, powerpoint presentation, Maria's video testimony followed by a Q&A session at the end.
Be the light in the darkness is the theme for Holocaust Memorial Day 2021.
