Event Information
Hello everyone, we've decided to try to host an online screening this Saturday. The way that we will do this is over a video watching website called 'Kast'. If you follow the link below, make a Kast account and request to join our 'Anime Society Online' party, we will add you and you're good to go. Kast allows us to screen share to numerous other devices, voice chat will be done over discord.

This is the first time we've done something like this so it will partially be a test to see if an online screening works. We think that as our psychical events have been postponed, it would be nice for everyone to do something together and stay connected so it's worth a shot.
This week's screenings will be a classic and lighthearted adventure: My Neighbour Totoro. Hopefully we'll see you there.
Synopsis:
In 1950s Japan, Tatsuo Kusakabe relocates himself and his two daughters, Satsuki and Mei, to the countryside to be closer to their mother, who is hospitalized due to long-term illness. As the girls grow acquainted with rural life, Mei encounters a small, bunny-like creature in the yard one day. Chasing it into the forest, she finds "Totoro"—a giant, mystical forest spirit whom she soon befriends. Before long, Satsuki too meets Totoro, and the two girls suddenly find their lives filled with magical adventures in nature and fantastical creatures of the woods.
