Dippers!!
This Sunday 12th March, we will be heading for a dip at Keeper's Pond, just on the edge of the Brecon Beacons!
Keeper's Pond is one of the most beautiful spots - an infinty pool up in the hills looking out over incredible views - not one to miss!
Get your flasks and your hardiest dipper attitude at the ready and come and join with the coolest bunch of people at Cardiff Uni.
Key details:
Meeting time: 1pm at Keeper's Pond
Minbuses: Tickets will be going on sale for £6 on the SU website at 6pm on Wednesday (8th March) evening. Please be at the SU by the Co-op on Senghennydd Road at 11:45 sharp on Sunday.
Drivers/Cars: Look out for a lift-share document and make your way to the pond for 1pm. The drive should be a bit under an hour each way. There is free parking directly next to the pond, but some other nearby parking also should this fill up.
Plan: Meet at 1pm for a chilly dip. Then warm up and if we're feeling adventurous, it's just a short walk uphill to the top of The Blorenge, from which you can see even more amazing views!
What to bring: Everything you would for any dip, especially lots of warm layers! We'll be up in the hills so it's likely to be a bit breezy. It's a bit of a muddy one aswell so you might want water shoes if you have them.
