Bare Necessities - Soap Making

SU 4th Floor Room 4D • Wed 27 March 2019 14:30-16:30

Bare Necessities is a new student-led project aiming to empower communities by providing basic amenities to be clean and comfortable. It exists as a campaign to support people living in poverty.

Bare necessities are holding a homemade soap making a session to create soap presents to sell as a fundraiser for Mother's day. All materials will be provided to make the soap. Money made from the fundraiser will go to the registered charity Cardiff Volunteering and will be used to develop the projects further as well as bulk buying products for local homeless charities.

We ask for a contribution of 50p towards the materials.

Along with beauty products, there are daily essentials that are always needed, these include:

Shampoo

Body Wash

Toothpaste

Toothbrushes

Deodorant

Disposable razors

Travel sized versions of shampoo and body wash

Sanitary pads

Men's grooming products

Baby products

Wet wipes

Hairbrushes

Please Feel free to donate any of these items when attending the event, they would be much appreciated.
