Event Information
Over 4,000 young people in Wales have been classified as homeless within the last 18 months. Can you survive a cold, lonely night?
Arrive at 7pm. From 7.30pm, you'll be crafting your shelters from cardboard boxes and anything else you can scavenge. Please bring your own sleeping bag and/or clothes to keep you warm through the night. There'll also be some light snacks and hot drinks to warm you from the inside. When it hits 8pm, we'll be heading outside for the night, until breakfast. You'll also receive a t shirt if you make it to the end!
Sign up is £10 per person (includes a t-shirt and breakfast). We also ask that you fundraise a minimum of £20, all the money that is raised goes directly towards supporting the local projects that Cardiff Volunteering work with. For those who fundraise £100 or more you also get a Student Sleepout hoody!
You can raise money just for Cardiff Volunteering and our projects or 50% of the money you raise can go to Cardiff Volunteering and the other 50% can go towards any local charities you support or your chosen Cardiff University Students' Union Society or AU club.
You'll need to set up a BT MyDonate page that is connected to the Cardiff Volunteering fundraising page.
