Event Information
Following student feedback, we are introducing our second year of our placement support project called ‘Heath Park on Tour’. The aim of this campaign is to support you during your placement experience to grow your student community whilst away from Cardiff. We understand the placement experience can be stressful and we want to do something small to give you the chance to unwind, take a break and meet with fellow Heath Park students in your area!
Heath Park on Tour will see us putting on a series of activities for you, where you are, on placement. These activities will be free and are aimed at bringing you together with other students. Remember to book your free place below, and if you have any more ideas of what you would like us to do get in touch.
On the 22nd January we will be visiting our students in Rhyl and Bangor for a visit to Gwrych Castle.
This famous fortress is exceptionally well preserved and was the location of I'm A Celebrity during it's two years in Wales.
The Students' Union will cover your entry to the castle and will pay for the transport to the venue for students on placement in Bangor and Rhyl. We will also cover the costs of lunch and cinema.
Bangor placement students should meet the Students' Union staff at Bangor Station at 10am. Rhyl placement students should meet the Students' Union staff at 11am at the hospital site.
Remember this is FREE for all of our Heath Park placement students ONLY!
