Welcome to HistorySoc at Cardiff University!
Here at HistorySoc we have a passion for history and historical trips as well as a number of different social events! In previous years we have gone abroad to places like Berlin, Prague, Budapest, and Amsterdam as well as several day trips to places like local castles.
If trips are not your scene, we also hold a number of different history talks throughout the year local to Cardiff University that are accessible only to members.
If you are looking for more of a social gathering, we aim to put on several different socials, both drinking and non-drinking, a couple times a term. In past years we have done themes such as ‘Toga Toga’ and ‘1920’s’ for a fair amount of bar crawls in and around Cardiff.
We have many events planned for this year as we believe after the latest pandemic, we are all due a good university experience, so keep an eye on this page, or you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook!!
