Welcome to Cardiff University Athletic Union
Welcome to the home of competitive and participation sport at Cardiff University Students' Union.The AU has 57 sports clubs, ranging from Aikido to Yoga. Many of our clubs compete in the British University Sports Association competition (BUSA), where teams travel all over Wales and England battling it out for BUSA points.
We also host an extremely popular Intra Mural Games (IMG) programme. This is a set of recreational competitions in Netball, Rugby and Football which 800 participate in every Wednesday!
Whatever you want from sport, the AU has something for you.
We live on the third floor of the Students' Union and are open from 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday. To find out more about how the Athletic Union works, what we do or find out about a specific club feel free to browse around the website. Or alternatively, come visit us!

News...
Congratulations to Cardiff University Golfers who came 2nd in the World Student Matchplay event in Ingolstadt, Germany.Elliot Shaw, Ryan Greaney, Paul Milford, and Ben Martin were the only team (including first placed Exeter) to score four rounds under 80. Cardiff narrowly lost to Exeter in the final.
Elsewhere, Cardiff UCCE won the BUSA Cricket Premier League, with considerable contributions from Chris Smith and Simon Butler of Cardiff University.
