Well, time has flown and the 2015 Awards Meal is coming up! A time for us to look back and celebrate everything that has happened this year and to give certain individuals the recognition they deserve for their contributions to the club.
This year it will be taking place on the 2nd May from 7pm at the Angel Hotel, opposite the holiday inn, if in doubt, consult Mr Google.
Tickets will be £25 and there will only be 35 spaces available, so the sooner you pay, the more likely you are to have a guaranteed space.
Dress code is Black Tie, if you don't know what that is, look at the picture of the baby. If you come dressed worse than that baby, you will be thrown out, the Angel Hotel is a swanky joint.
This year we have the option of 2 set menus, I'm afraid you cannot choose individual courses, so it's either option 1 or 2.
Option 1
- Homemade leek and potato soup with Welsh rarebit croutons
- Chicken breast, with leek, Caerphilly cheese and bacon, new potatoes, fresh vegetables and a tarragon jus
- Rhubarb crumble tart, whisky sauce Coffee and mints
Option 2
- Salmon and laver bread terrine, balsamic and Welsh honey dressing
- Slow roasted shoulder of lamb, roasted root vegetables, leek potato cake, rosemary sauce
- Bara brith honey cheesecake, vanilla sauce Coffee and Welshcakes
