Voting in Students' Union election is one way you can ensure your voice is heard. Our elections use the single transferable voting method. Transferable voting allows voters to list the candidates in order of preference. The successful candidate will need 50% of the total number of votes plus 1 to win. If any candidate does not receive enough votes to win, the candidate with the fewest votes is removed and their votes transferred to the other candidates according to voters’ next preference. If you don't believe any of the candidates standing for a position have the qualities you feel are valuable, or you don't agree with their manifesto, you can vote R.O.N. which stands for 're-open nominations'. If R.O.N wins the vote, no one would be elected to this role and the nominations for the role would re-open, giving the opportunity to find the right person to lead your Union. Os nad ydych chi'n credu bod gan unrhyw un o'r ymgeiswyr sy'n sefyll am swydd y rhinweddau rydych chi'n teimlo sy'n werthfawr, neu os nad ydych chi'n cytuno â'u maniffesto, gallwch bleidleisio R.O.N. sy'n sefyll am 'ailagor enwebiadau'. Os bydd R.O.N yn ennill y bleidlais, ni fyddai neb yn cael ei ethol i'r rôl hon a byddai'r enwebiadau ar gyfer y rôl yn ailagor, gan roi'r cyfle i ddod o hyd i'r person cywir i arwain eich Undeb.

1. £5 Students’ Union vouchers are limited to one per student who submits an online ballot paper during the 2026 SU Leadership Elections and NUS Referendum voting period (9th-12th March 2026).
2. £5 Vouchers can be redeemed in The Taf, Ty Tatws, Starbucks (Level 2, Students’ Union building) and Love Cardiff (excluding Post Office transactions) only.
3. £5 must be redeemed in a single transaction, no change will be given. Cannot be used or exchanged for a deposit for any other or future purchases.
4. Only one voucher to be redeemed per transaction.
5. An email confirmation will automatically be sent to voters once they have voted for all positions. This email confirmation will need to be shown at a collection point (outlined in point 6) and a physical voucher will be given.
6. Vouchers can be collected from:
• Students’ Union Welcome Centre in Cathays, Monday > Friday 09:00 to 17:00
7. Voucher collection will begin on Monday 16th March 2026 and will end on Friday 20th March 2026.
8. Vouchers must be redeemed between Monday 13th April 2026 and Friday 12th June 2026.
9. Vouchers not valid on Graduation items in Love Cardiff.
10. Vouchers are not redeemable on personalised / pre-order items / or Y1 society fleeces.
11. Vouchers valid on Food and Drink only when used in the Taf, Starbucks or Ty Tatws (Level 2, Students' Union Building).
12. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for any cash value.
13. We reserve the right to remove this promotion at any time without notice.
14. Students who are unable to attend campus regularly may request to exchange their £5 SU Voucher for an online £5 Love Cardiff Voucher:
15. The ability to exchange is restricted on a first-come first-serve basis until stocks last.

5. Anfonir cadarnhad e-bost yn awtomatig at bleidleiswyr ar ôl iddynt bleidleisio dros bob swydd. Bydd angen dangos y cadarnhad e-bost hwn mewn man casglu (a amlinellir ym mhwynt 6) a byddwch yn derbyn taleb gorfforol.

7. Bydd casglu talebau yn dechrau ddydd Llun 16eg Mawrth 2026 a bydd yn dod i ben ddydd Gwener 20fed Mawrth 2026.
8. Rhaid defnyddio talebau rhwng dydd Llun 13eg Ebrill 2026 a dydd Gwener 12fed Mehefin 2026.
9. Nid yw talebau yn ddilys ar eitemau Graddio yn Caru Caerdydd.
10. Ni ellir defnyddio talebau ar eitemau wedi’i personoleiddio / archebu ymlaen llaw / na fleeces Cymdeithas Y1.
11. Dim ond pan gânt eu defnyddio yn y Taf, Starbucks neu Tŷ Tatws (Lefel 2, Adeilad Undeb y Myfyrwyr) y mae talebau yn ddilys ar Fwyd a Diod.
12. Ni ellir cyfnewid talebau am unrhyw werth arian parod.
