Open S.P.A.C.E

Open SPACE (Supporting Public Access to Community Environments) is a new community project in Caerdydd promoting the importance of free and accessible community spaces outside of the work or home environment. We support and partake in local activism by working together as citizens of Cardiff to help decentralise power and return it to communities, allowing average people to have more agency over their lives. We have a strong background in climate justice and landwork, as the first plans for Open SPACE began at Global Gardens, another student volunteering project which helps get students involved in a community garden just off Whitchurch Road.
If you strongly believe that community cohesion and access to third places will help tackle a lot of the problems we face as a society today, or you just want to build a better sense of community in the city you live in, come join us!
