Hi | Shwmae! I’m Shreshth (he/him) and I am your Vice President Societies and Volunteering this year!
I am an international student from India and have just finished studying Law at Cardiff University. During my time here, I have been engaged in various student groups and last year even started my own society: Taylor Swift Society.?
In my spare time, I love creative activities such as painting, playing music etc. and take keen interest in going to the gym and swimming. I also do love meeting new people so if you ever see me, please feel free to say hi!?
I love sharing my experiences with people which is why I use social media to help people explore! This has made me quite a fan of making reels for instagram, and I do apologise in advance because you will be seeing a lot of these on my social media platforms haha!
Having spoken to various student groups, I have come to understand a lot more about the challenges faced by them.
My main priorities this year are to:

Make societies more accessible to everyone and increase engagement amongst student groups.

Make it easier for societies to function in terms of tier system, committee resources and society schemes.

Being accessible to student groups and ensure transparency so everyone is involved in decision making and change.
