Are you a new Cardiff University Student?

If you are joining Cardiff University this September, we can’t wait to meet you! As soon as you enrol at Cardiff University, you automatically become a member of the Students’ Union. We want to make sure you get the most out of your membership and take advantage of all the events and activities available, starting with our amazing Freshers’ events!

As you’re brand new to the University, we don’t have your University login details registered yet so we need you to create a freshers’ guest account by clicking on the button below and filling out your details.

Create a temporary new student account

In a few weeks time we will recieve your student data record from the University - once we have you will be able to login with your student number (eg. c1234567) - until then you will need to use the email address that you register your guest account with.

Please note that you will need to use your email address as your login username

Returning Cardiff University students

Welcome back old friends! Feel free to log in to the website using your Cardiff University username and password as your details are already registered with us. Don’t forget to include the C with your student number, e.g. C1234567

Non-student guests

This is for any guests coming to the Students’ Union who aren’t registered students of Cardiff University. We love welcoming the general public for live music events and other selected events, we just need you to register for a guest account in order to buy tickets.

Please remember, your new guest account will not let you participate in student-orientated activities like voting in Elections or buying tickets for student-only events. If you're having issues purchasing tickets, please call our Welcome Centre on 029 2078 1400.
