Digital Champions will receive 2 hours of training by Digital Communities Wales- Digital Confidence, Health and Well-being, a Welsh Government funded programme.
You will also learn how to engage with vulnerable groups who aren’t online and who might never have used tech before.
Digital Champions don’t need to be a tech wizard, It’s more important to be patient, caring and a good listener.
After the training you can then go to one of four different placements such as care homes, day centres or community centres where you use your new skills to help service users make the go online for the first time, try new tech or help them with their own devices.
The commitment for this project 1 hour per week for 4 weeks.
