If you’re interested in joining one of the many societies we have at Cardiff Students’ Union then you must check out our amazing Heath Park Societies! Whether it is your course-based society such as MedSoc (Medic) , NurSoc (Nursing) or PACS (Physio) or one of our many others, you’re sure to find something that interests you. If you want to meet new people, play an instrument, or make a difference in the life of another person, then joining a society is for you!

Medics Sports Clubs
Don’t be fooled by the name, our 7 Medic sports teams are open to all students! Our Heath Park Sports teams are:
They give the perfect opportunity to compete at a high level alongside your course mates, while catering for the busy work cycles of Heath Park students. Many of our teams compete in BUCS and are involved in fixtures on Wednesday and Saturday all the way through the year.

Medics Varsity
Medics Varsity is the highlight of the Heath Park annual sporting calendar. It is an established annual event whereby our Cardiff University Medics sports teams go head-to-head against their rivals, Bristol University Medic Clubs. The event brings together the Heath Park student community by cheering on your peers and celebrating their successes – one not to be missed! #UppaMeds.Medics Varsity 2023 will be announced in the 2023/24 autumn semester
