BME People's Experience of Healthcare

A representative from Ethnic Minorities and Youth Support Team Wales (EYST) will be speaking about the challenges faced by BME people as patients and healthcare professionals, and what steps can be taken to better the situation.
EYST is an award-winning organisation for BME young people, families and individuals including refugees and asylum-seekers living in Wales. It aims to fill a gap in provision by providing a targeted, culturally sensitive and holistic support service to meet their needs.
This is part of our Disparities in Healthcare Short Course; there are certificates signed by the Dean of Medicine available for those who attend at least 4 of our fortnightly short course events this term.
