Come along and give .22LR Rifle Shooting a try with Cardiff University Rifle Club. We are a friendly and inclusive club with members with a range of abilities so whatever your previous experience of shooting you'll fit right in!
Directions:
In order to get to Penarth Range, first you need to take the train from Cathays station to Penarth Station. The trains leave every 15 minutes, and the journey (with a change at Queens Street) should take approximately 30 minutes. if arriving at Penarth train station at one of the set times, you should be met by one of our committee who will take you to the range. If this is not the case we have provided directions to get to the range on foot:
Walk north up Stanwell Rd. for roughly 320m (0.2 miles), until you arrive at the round-a-bout. On the opposite side of the round-a-bout you will find Cornerswell Rd. Continue along Cornerswell Rd. until the very end. Here you should meet the B4267/Redlands Rd.. A few metres to your right there’s a pelican crossing. Please use it. Continue that way and take the first left, to Elfed Avenue. Follow this road until you get to Glyndwr Rd. The range is at the end of this road. You will see the ‘Lifestyle Express’ corner shop to your left. The range is on the right of this. Once at the range please knock on the door and we’ll let you in.
