Join us on the Taff for a short introduction to CUKC! Open to all paddling abilities, we'll attempt to pass on some kayaking skills, mixed in with a few games throughout. Current members of the club will also be around before and after to tell you all about the club's antics as well as what to expect should you join us!

You must be able to confidently swim 25m to take part. 

This session is dependent upon river levels, so follow our instagram, @cardiffuniversitykayakers, to stay up to date!

You will need to bring: 

• a change of clothes and shoes you are happy to wear on the water - and very likely get wet!
  • Please no jeans or cotton. A rashvest or wetsuit (weather dependent) would be ideal, but is by no means necessary
• a towel
• water
• suncream - we live in hope. 

If you own any kayaking kit, feel free to bring it along. 

The club will provide all the other kayaking kit you'll need
