Guest Talk: Dead Trees - A Thriving Habitat
Wednesday 11 November 2020, 6pm - 7pm
Zoom
Event Information
People of think that trees with rotting parts are a sad sight. I hope to convince you otherwise. They are not only crucial habitat for fungi – including threatened species, but also for a wide range of vertebrates and invertebrates. Moreover, nutrients that had been locked in non-functional tissues can be released for use in further tree growth, and structural stability is improved.
