Welcome to the wonderful world of solitary bees...

Didn't know there were solitary bees? well you're in for a treat when you come along to the talk by Liam Olds!

This talk will give you an introduction to the diversity, ecology and conservation of solitary bees! ??

I mean, why wouldn't you want to know?! 

This talk is free and open to everyone, so come along!

Location

The Large Shandon Lecture Theatre is located within the Main building - signs will be put up and a committee member will be waiting outside the main entrance to guide people in to the talk if needed!

About Liam - 

Liam is an entomologist with a particular interest in solitary bees. Over the past several years, Liam has been actively surveying solitary bees across South Wales and working to raise the public profile of these vital but overlooked insects. He currently works for the invertebrate conservation charity Buglife as Conservation Officer (Wales) and is the lead author of the soon-to-be-published 'Wales Threatened Bee Report', highlighting the status of our most threatened wild bees in Wales.
