Event Information

This is an advanced course for healthcare students or practitioners who have completed Part 1, or have sports taping skills they want to develop. Participants will revise the principles and applications of sports taping, exploring new taping products and techniques used in the management of sports injuries. Safe and effective application of a variety of taping materials will be practiced including; rigid, elastic, dynamic and k-taping of a wide variety of body areas vulnerable to sports injury.

Session 1

  • Brief Review of Principles, Products and Precautions
  • Advanced Ankle and High Ankle
  • Foot and Great Toe
  • Advanced Knee and Patello-femoral joint
  • Advanced K-taping

Session 2

  • Leg, thigh & groin
  • Spine
  • Shoulder (instability, impingement) and Acromio-clavicular joint
  • Dynamic taping
  • Advanced Elbow, Wrist, Hand and Fingers
