Marrow Society

National Stem Cell Clinic

Friday 23 March 2018, 11am - 3pm

Cardiff Student's Union, 2nd Floor

Event Information

What – We are signing people up to the bone marrow register

Why – To help save the lives of people with blood cancers. Sometimes these people need a stem cell transplant as a last resort after standard chemotherapy/radiotherapy hasn’t worked, and most of the time, the stem cells will come from an unrelated donor, just like you and me

How – All you have to do is take a quick cheek swab and fill in a form, then it’s a 1 in 100 chance you are a match, if you are that match, you can donate your stem cells and save someone's life

Time –  Friday 23rd March, between 11 and 3, in Cardiff Student's Union, 2nd floor, by Starbucks. It will only take 10 minutes, it’s a quick good deed for the day!
