Starting from Newman Hall Refectory • Sat 28 September 2019 10:00-16:00
This is a hike with beautiful views of the Brecon Beacons, the Usk Valley and the Forest of Dean. Also it will be an opportunity to learn about the history of persecution of Catholicism during the Reformation and Penal Law years, as we will be visiting the ancient ruins of St Michael’s Chapel. There will be plenty of opportunity to socialise, make friends and have fun! Also, remember that one always has to be prepared to go to the mountain. Bring sensible shoes or walking boots and water. Bring appropriate clothing as well.
A mini-bus will leave at 10 am from Newman Hall and will be back around 4 pm. Please get a ticket or let a member of the CathSoc Committee know if you would like to participate so that we have enough places for everyone!
