When defending against an attack many skills are required to defend against many different forms attack such as grabbing, kicks and punches
This session aims to increase the awareness of such problems that you may encounter and helps you measure how at risk you may become. There are often very simple things that can be done to defend oneself if an assault becomes physical. The session covers some practical exercises and utilises effective techniques that you can apply in order to keep yourself safe and get away from the assault. The session also aims to improve confidence and how to keep calm if attacked.
Please adhere to the following instructions when you've booked our face to face taught workshops:
- Do NOT attend if you have a temperature or are feeling unwell
- Wash your hands regularly and use the hand sanitizer provided in the training rooms
- Clean down the surface of desks prior to and after attending the workshops using the substance and cloths provided
- Wear masks throughout the building and if instructed to during the session by the trainer.
